Restricted goods banner

Here at Alpha First Aid we hold a wholesale licence to sell restricted goods. While navigating the alphafirstaid.com.au you might find that some products are labelled either S2, S3, or S4. These letters and numbers signify if a product is a restricted good, and if so, what schedule it falls within. These restricted goods have specific requirements for purchase.

Restricted goods can only be bought from our website if you are logged in under a wholesale account that has been approved to view restricted goods. If you are logged in and cannot view the S2, S3 or S4 products you need, please contact us at info@alphafirstaid.com.au

Our wholesale licence means we are able to sell Schedule 2 (S2), Schedule 3 (S3) and Schedule 4 (S4) restricted goods.

S2 Goods are considered ‘Pharmacy Medicines’. These are mostly painkillers and products to treat minor conditions such as coughs and colds. To purchase from this category a purchase order signed by a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Doctor, along with a current registration number must be provided.

S3 Goods are ‘Pharmacist Only Medicines’. These include stronger cold and flu tablets, along with epipens, phenergan and ventolin. To purchase from this category a purchase order signed by a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Doctor, along with a current registration number must be provided

S4 Goods are ‘Prescription Only Medicines’. Goods such as Panadeine Forte, Diazepam, Penthrox and Codeine are on this list. To purchase you must supply an original doctor’s prescription, a purchase order signed by a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Doctor, and a current registration number. These items are not available online.

Orders for restricted goods cannot be processed until the relevant above documentation is emailed to info@alphafirstaid.com.au

What is a schedule of restricted goods?
A schedule is a tranche (or list) of products which are controlled by the government. Customers who wish to purchase a product or products within a tranche must adhere to specific requirements. Restricted good tranches range from schedule 2 (S2) to schedule 10 (S10). The requirements of purchasing restricted products scale in complexity as their schedule identifier (number) grows.
